Gangien's KZ Updater is a program, that will idle in your System task tray and periodically check for new maps. And depending on your settings, download those maps and install them for you.
To install:
1.) Download and extract this file
-link-2.) move it to wherever you want to install it to. So, if you want to put it in Program Files, copy it there.
3.) Run the KZUpdaterInstall.exe in the directory you just copied. So if you put it in Program Files, it would be in Program Files\kzupdater\KZUpdaterInstall.exe
* Install for, will install shortcuts for you, everyone, or no one.
* Run at startup will make the program automatically start up when you log in.
4.) Configure your settings.
* Select your CStrike directory
* Probably best to leave it at verify maps to Download. If you choose the other one, it will download maps without asking you.
* also probably best to use the system tray, otherwise when it runs, the only way to kill it is with the task manager or something similiar.
Click oK
5.) now you should be able to run the program.
If you installed shortcuts, you'll notice that you can check for updates. This means the program will run once, check for updates, and if there are some, download them or prompt you, then quit.
Also the program will automatically download new versions of the software, and it takes a restart of the program to get these updates.
